Maggie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive training in perinatal mental health and trauma healing. She received her Masters in Social Work from the Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Denver with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health. She is trained in EMDR and Somatic Experiencing and has training from both Postpartum Support International and The Seleni Institute in providing specialized care for parents and families throughout pregnancy and postpartum. She has previous experience working in a women's clinic supporting OB patients through pregnancy and postpartum alongside their OBGYNs and PCPs.

Maggie's approach as a therapist is relational and authentic. The bulk of her therapeutic framework is rooted in EMDR and Somatic Experiencing, meaning she is always curious about the stories your nervous system holds and how your experiences have shaped these stories. Her promise is to listen compassionately and non-judgmentally, to hold you in high regard, and to co-create a safe space for curiosity and exploration with you. She enjoys working with anxiety, panic attacks, OCD, gender & sexuality, “women's issues”, attachment, and trauma experiences.

Maggie is LGBTQ+ affirming and identifies as part of the queer community. She is also half Cuban- American and speaks Spanish as a second language. She loves working with others who have mixed identities and backgrounds and holding space for how culture, identity, and background have shaped you. (Ofrece servicios de terapia en español). Maggie's commitment to self-care looks like slowing down, resting, journaling, time in nature, & dancing to live music.
