Kaylin is a Master of Social Work (MSW) graduate from the Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU) who has worked to support children and families both professionally and unprofessionally in varying capacities over the past 10 years. She began her journey as caretaker and advocate for youth of all ages alongside both inner-city and high-risk households, and then focused her studies and training on attachment, childhood development, and cultural trauma informed care through the lens of family dynamics and systems theories.

Kaylin is passionate about holistic healing and healthy attachments between the caregiver(s) and their child(ren), and incorporates client-centered, motivational interviewing, and self-empowerment techniques into sessions, along with play therapy with youth. Kaylin identifies as Jamaican-American, and grew up in metro-Atlanta while also bringing into focus multiple cross-cultural perspectives through her lived experiences in other countries throughout Europe and eastern Europe. Kaylin currently resides in Denver, CO where she has grown as a clinical therapist for individuals and groups within home-based and school settings. Kaylin is most passionate about providing equitable care and psychoeducation for folks within the BIPOC community, while working alongside all caregivers by beaconing for healthy attachment among families.
