Connie (she/her) has a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology from Georgia State University and a Masters of Clinical Social Work degree from Smith College. Connie has a passion for family and reproductive mental health care and justice, and her breadth of experience is a testament to this passion. In her previous roles, she has worked as an advocate for survivors of sexual violence, an abortion doula, a social and emotional learning program developer, and a child and family therapist. She has education and training in a variety of modalities to meet the unique needs of caregivers, children, and individuals in various places in their healing journeys, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Let’s Connect Parent Coaching, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

Connie has a theoretical foundation in psychodynamic theory and works with her clients from an anti-oppressive, relational stance. She believes that therapeutic work is most meaningful when curiosity, compassion, and empathy are at its core. She recognizes the role that environment can have on mental health and strives to honor each person’s unique constellation of culture and identity. Connie is especially passionate about helping caregivers discover their inner strengths and learn new skills to foster connection, hope, and direction in their lives.

Connie is a big believer in the power of play, creativity, and joy. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, sewing, traveling, and adventuring with her partner and dog.
